Vitamin D

Vitamin D is often referred to as a hormone, it is very powerful & important. It is commonly known that Vitamin D has a powerful influence on our immune. But did you know Vitamin D deficiency is linked to some cancers, high blood pressure, joint pain and obesity?

Vitamin D levels in our foods are generally fairly low, therefore your best sources are natural sunlight and supplementation. Your optimal time in the sun can vary depending on where you live. Here in the Midwest, we recommend 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight several times per week to support optimal levels.
