Lake Pointe’s newest offering for optimal body healing is SoftWave Tissue-Regenerative Therapy. This gentle, non-invasive treatment uses concentrated, gentle sound waves (similar to an ultrasound) called ‘softwaves’ to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. The patented, electro-hydraulically produced acoustic waves exit the SoftWave applicator at 3,355 miles per hour, activating cellular receptors within the body to effectively treat pain and non-invasively heal tissue.
This process creates a shearing force at a cellular level that helps break up existing scar tissue and removes oxidative stresses that have accumulated around the cell membrane. Without damaging healthy tissue, the softwaves trick the body into responding as if there is a new injury, and helps activate your body’s innate healing response while decreasing inflammation and pain at the treatment site. Because SoftWave provides more accurately-targeted sound waves than other devices, cellular receptors are activated exclusively at the treatment site and ensures the targeted tissue is the only tissue affected and treated.
