Watermelon Salad
Fresh, sweet, salty, and incredibly refreshing, this watermelon salad is the perfect side dish for summer gatherings, grilling nights, or a light lunch.
Ingredients
Combine in large serving bowl - ENJOY!
watermelon, cut into bite-sized cubes
Add crumbled feta cheese (or not if you are DF)
Fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
Very thinly slice some red onion
Optional: aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze for drizzling
Optional: Freshly cracked black pepper
Tips
Chill the watermelon before preparing for the most refreshing flavor.
Add the basil just before serving to keep it bright and fresh.
