Sachet…Recycle…Repeat!
Where do your Organo satchets go when you’re done with them?
At Lake Pointe, we love our Organo beverages and we love our planet. Lucky for us, Organo does, too!
For years now, Organo has been operating its Bags for Life program. Bags for Life works with marginalized women around the world to sustainably produce craft purses from the sachets of coffee we drink at home and at the office, collected by Organo and sent to the participating organizations. The women are paid for each purse by Organo, who then auctions the craft purses at OG conventions. Most proceeds from each Bag for Life auction go back to the women who created them.
From Organo:
Bags for Life is a tie-up campaign with a non-profit organization that provides work to unemployed women in impoverished urban areas.
This initiative lets our independent Distribution Partners and customers get involve in a meaningful way, recycling their trash to transform it into livelihood opportunities for these women and their families.
At Lake Pointe, we’ve long been believers in and supporters of Organo and their mission. By saving and recycling your coffee satchets, you too can help support Organo’s initiative for sustainable production and waste reduction.
Recycling your sachets is easy!
Preserving the Organo logo, cut the bottom portion of the coffee sachet when using (for tea, cut the top)
